Keith Reveley had some fancied horses out yesterday, including Its Teescomponents and Kings Grey, which both went off favourite and got beaten. I did both.
So, today I overlooked him. I was just reading on the Sporting Life website that his son, James, had ridden a birthday winner in Along The Nile and thinking to myself 'Why don't they tell you this stuff (about the birthday) beforehand?' when Star Beat pops up to make it a birthday double.

i can't believe i have picked out a 400/1 treble and had nothing on it though, absolutely gutted - i ALWAYS have a multiple running because of this kind of occurrence. have won just under £500 today on the 3 selections - £30 win and place on the first 2 and £15 on the last one (less my usual in running lays)
if i had done my usual multiples on top the return would have been closer to £5k.
happy and gutted in equal measure.
definitely think i am getting better at this horse racing though (a dangerous thought to have that...)
