First NFL thread i could find...
Im looking at NY Giants and i think they are definitely over priced, should be more like a 2/1 chance rather than a 3/1+ chance, therefore I am having a decent sized punt on them _________________ 2008 Roll Of Honour (So Far....)

Good call Sham.I thought they had blown it but they were the better team tonight and deserved to win.Hard to see them beating the Patriots though. |

I was so glad when Tynes kicked that last goal, not just cos I won the bet, but because he really deserved it as did the Giants, easily the best team throughout the game. And I know that people might think im mad going against the 'perfect team' but 9/2 & 5/1 looks a crazy price for a very underrated Giants team. They were one of the teams to give New England a run for there money. Last time they played it was 38-35.
Of the two last night Eli Manning looked the best of the quarter backs, and I think with Manning he probably has a lot less to lose in the final. There will be a lot of pressure on New England to complete the perfect season and no pressure on the Giants compared to NE.
If players like Burress can continue there form into the final then its definitely all to play for. No way is it a 1/8 plays 5/1 game. No chance. _________________ 2008 Roll Of Honour (So Far....)

| Fair comment .The patriots famed offence didnt really fire last night.Brady looked slightly nervous and at times i thought they were there for the taking.I still think though that if the Patriots play to their best its game over.Should be interesting anyway. |

Blast it!
Had a bet last night for the Vikings to get to within 6 pts of the Saints.
And I fell asleep thinking I had it.
What do they do? They win by 3!!!!

YYYEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAA
playoff football is here!
i follow the niners so no post-season interest again, but love the additional intensity. If any, probably want Carolina or Miami to win it
betting wise i have a double on atlanta -2 and philadelphia -3
anyone else watching??? _________________ A winner, any winner, please? |

I must admit when I tipped up Miami to do well with there young team last year and they almost had the worst season in NFL history, however I did say they would improve the following season and even though they are the 25/1 (49.0 on betfair) outsiders for the superbowl I think they could well cause a big upset. _________________ 2008 Roll Of Honour (So Far....)
