Another week for us to get our teeth into so here it is,

NY GIANTS -6.5 @10/11 (VARIOUS)

The Giants coming off the bye week at home against a team that have been struggling recently although the addition to Seattles receiver corp of Engram and Branch and New York have suspended their own top star in Burress, this should be interesting but i think that the superior defence of New York should sway this their way.

DALLAS -10 1st half Handicap @10/11 (HILLS,LADBROKES)

The Cowboys have a point to prove after getting beaten by the Redskins last week and the Bengals are woeful without Carson Palmer at QB.Their exploits against Cleveland last week proved that point. This could turn into a massacre at Texas Stadium and my only reservation was that Dallas get a big lead and take their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter and give away a couple of cheap scores late on so i've went for them to be winning by more than 10 at half time purely for that reason rather than -16 for the full game.

JACKSONVILLE -3.5 @4/5 (TOTE)

Pittsburgh are struggling with injuries and will be missing their 2 starting running backs,Ben Rothlisburger is banged up,they are missing 2 defensive ends and top defensive tackle Corey Simmons.Jacksonville are struggling a fair bit in their secondary but the front 7 can pile the pressure on Big Ben which should negate that problem.David Gerrard has plenty of ability and can make plays when he has to and having the tandem running of Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor can make life difficult for the Pittsburgh defence who will have to carry the load of keeping the Steelers in the game.

Happy Punting.

Hmmm. What can i say about last nights results?

THE WINNERS

New York destroyed Seattle and had it won at half time to be brutally honest and we got it right to take Dallas on the half time handicap(they were winning by 11)although they fell across the winning line.

THE LOSERS

Pittsburgh countered the Jacksonville defence by having a high % of 3 step drop plays for Big Ben thus getting it out his hands before the pass rush really got to him.Jacksonvilles inability to run the ball didnt help either.

THE RANT

How in the name of all that is wonderful can Denver, who couldnt stop a thing last week against Kansas when we had them on a big handicap, hold Tampa to just 13 points and Kansas couldnt score a point against Carolina?

LOOKING GOOD

Our ante post portfolio isnt looking too bad even at this early stage of the season.

Pittsburgh who i flagged up at 5/4 to win their division are now as short as 1/8!

Tennessee who i flagged up at 10/1 to win the division are now as short as 4/9

Dallas have only shortened a point to win the NFC(advised 4/1,best 3/1 now)and have came in a few points to win the suoerbowl(advised 8/1,best 11/2 now)

The one im really happy about is Tennessee to win the superbowl. After advising them at 79/1,they have opened the season by going 5-0 and are now as short as 9/1!!

Minnesota really need to win tonight to keep their dreams alive of winning the division but so far they are the only blemish on an otherwise very healthy book and aren't out of it yet.

We are getting to the nitty gritty of the season where injuries are starting to mount and in the next few weeks we should have a really good idea of who's going to be doing what this season.

Onwards to next week
