Anyone seen this film before, It was my first time last night and i thought it was pretty decent not just because it is based on such a remarkable true story but pretty well put together.
For those of you who have not seen it or even heard of it and like Golf it is well worth a watch, it is about Francis Ouimet who won the 1913 US Open as a 20 year old amateur beating Harry Vardon who won 6 British Opens in all, the most extrordinary thing about his win was his caddie was only 10 years old

Hi YY
Yes i watched it too and whilst it was a bit typically Disney shmaltz it inspired [if that's the word] me to go and google Ouimet and learn more about him
It is, as you said, a great story - he went on to captainthe R&A; the first [only?] American ever to do so
If you go on to the internet you will see some nice photos of him and yes the caddie was that small and hat that funny hat! _________________ Geordie_R
