As individuals, maybe, as a team that has the will to win, never.

what a shock in the Mens 400m.. Warriner ran a shocker 44.74 a full second behind the winner and only beat the Brit by about 3 metres and he normally would beat him 12 to 15m

shocker and Kyle needed him for a nice acca too

And how many medals have we won already, with possibly more to come? And how much are rowing (apart from the single sculls, obviously) and some of the cycling team sports?

Honestly, some people will crab anything, just for the sake of it.....

The relay is always difficult, and sometimes it doesn't matter how much you practice - for example, if it's raining and the baton is slippery? Give the guys a break - Team GB has turned in some fine performances.

Calm down, calm down, you will have the cows jumping about.  twas only my ill informed opinion, from some one who can't run for a bus.

P.S. How many of the sports quoted involve passing a baton, even those on Maestro don't do that.

Jumping about cows - now there's an Olympic event ("artistic jumping"). And I suppose the world record would be "over the moon"....

Don't know what Maestro is, apart from a debit card, so can't comment!

Flicking through the tv channels and saw this "programme" where celebrities were trying to conduct an orchestra, it was called Maestro, hence the loose connection of baton, oops back to the relay, sorry.

The Jamaicans show the rest of the world how it's done in the 4x100 relay. Ridiculously easy!
