Due to recent comments on the board, we would like to clarify the position of Moderators and Admin.
Anyone who has been banned, stays banned. No one gets a second chance, as we have been down that route and it didn't work. We now feel anyone getting a ban would have had more than enough chances, before reaching that point.
While we can't stop people from re-joining, there are a few ways we can check if it's a past user. I won't give the game away by saying how, but suffice to say, if we have no proof, then we can't act. No matter how much speculation there is. Personally, I am convinced we have already-banned users on here, as are other Moderators, but once again, we have no proof.
That said, new users still need to follow the guidelines, but as the saying goes " truth will out".
We do not ban people covertly, nor do we allow them to return covertly. But a ban, just as much as a warning via pm, is between mods and the forum member. If a banned member chooses to make the fact of the ban or the reason for it known by other means, then that is up to them. But we respect the privacy of the pm system, and we ask that you do so too.
Here is a link to "How we operate the warnings/ban system" for your information.
