England beat New Zealand in the 20/20 match played today.
England batted first & made 184 - 8. New Zealand made 152.a.o.
A nice start to the tour.

hello hampton
aye i agree with you always good to get any tour off and running with a solid victory over the opposistion, even if it was in the 20 over version of the game
hopefully this one day squad will look to carry on has they started in the next 20 over game and then the following one day internationals
before the real cricket starts the tests
im going to tip england to win by 2-0 or 3-0
anyone think im mad
are we to assume that mustard who took the gloves in the 20 over game is likely to start behind the stumps for the tests???
cheers archie. |

Very comfortable win for England in the second match.
I'm pleased Mustard had a good game but the commentators seemed to think the other guy would get the gloves for the Tests.Presume Mustard keeps them for the one dayers starting Sunday. _________________ Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else. |

hello awaywardlad
england win again whats happening here
surely if ambrose is to be the keeper for the tests then theyve got to get the lad playing
from my scribblings theres only two tour games before the first test starts and the local weather could scupper those games so i wonder if he,ll be the keeper for the one dayers anyway lets hope the managment make the right decisions about the team and england win cheers archibald. |

| The New Zealand bowling attack looks very ordinary without Shane Bond. I can't see how they will bowl us out in a test match unless we bat very badly or get put in on a greenish wicket. Whilst its nice to see England winning comfortably in 20/20 I will want more of the same in the 50 Overs and Test Matches against a weak New Zealand team in transition. |
