He definitely stopped. AP quite rightly gets plenty of plaudits but on this occasion he is culpable imho.

Thrilling race though. Sweet Kiln was a major flop.

Heh... Well, I should have stuck to my long term view that mares in jumping are not to be trusted

The horse was idling in front and I'm not convinced AP knew where the line was.

If Tazbar turns up at Aintree he must be banker material !!!

That must be number one with a bullet in the list of things I never thought I'd hear anyone say about the multiple champion jockey!

I thought so too, looking at the first replay, but on the second, close up, replay it looked better, I don't know.

I'll be mortified if AP has c*cked up , it doesn't bear thinking about, for me, his greatest fan

I really like Tazbar. Saw Tazbar come 2nd at Haydock in November and thought it would win after that. I think I'm right in saying that it has won 3 races since and looks a tremendous prospect.

I still think the horse stopped but AP didn't stop 'till he was right on the line.

Brilliant ride by AP to get him in front but imo he slightly stopped riding when he got there.Probably thought he had won.I had backed Refinement but as i always do had 2 lays left for 1.11 and 1.04.Actually won m ore with her getting beaten.

Just watched it again and my personal view is that AP never stopped riding at all until 1/2 metre from the line and in that case made no difference in the result and would be disappointed if that woman who presents on RUK who I cannot stand and the bloke who talks more rubbish than a land fill site would hold have any infleunce in getting AP a ban for that

Agree YY, a right pair of plonkers.

Sweet Kiln must have gone wrong.

It can happen to any jockey, McCoy isn't infallible. Difficult to tell if it made any difference to the outcome though !!!
