Hills is said to be leaving their decision until they both complete their final pieces of work some time this week. It must be a close call.

I have backed Kaseema on Betfair as the price will drop if he switches rides.

Just been going through the form and there are two horses to go wo war with today AGAINST finsceal Beo, who I know will be hard to beat.

They are Simply Perfect - A Group 1 Winner over the distance in a trial that used to be a good stepping stone to this race. The ground was G\S that day but she has won on good ground, she also looks a pure miler and at the 12/1 I will side with her.

The other one os Theann, O'Brien's filly. Anyone that saw the Guineas Trial over at Leopardstown would have seen this filly finish like a train and that was over 7 Furlongs.I know she has ben beaten quite a few times but I get the feeling this one has been crying out for the mile, so at th 25/1 I think she is good EW value.

I'm on Simply Perfect beacuse I was on English Ballet when SP beat EB at York. I haven't stopped kicking myself yet.

And Theann - small stakes at 33/1 - because of the Leopardstown run.

I wonder if O'Brien wil be at Newmarket with Theann or Gowran Park with War and Peace, Mahler etc etc

They said she ran badly in gallop in the middle of the week and they dont know why. Coupled with her run in her guineas trial when she 'tied up' (as far as I understand really bad cramp which can re-occur) this has caused her price to drift, I'd avoid her like the plague !!!!

Wonder how much that has cost the punter! Talk about bookies benefit year! antepost vouchers in the 1000's being ripped up as we speak!

I like FB a lot and clearly she is much the likeliest winner but i can't back her at 11/8, especially after seeing how the 2 yr old form translated in the 2000 Guineas yesterday.

The 3 i'm backing to small stakes are:

Simply Perfect @ 11.5
Miss Beatrix @ 15.5
Theann @ 25.0

Both SImply Perfect and Miss Beatrix look well overpriced, especially with no Snander Camillo or Magic America.

On form Theann is probably under priced, but its worth backing O'Briens only runner blind at that sort of price. She must be fairly well regarded and caught the eye in her trial. Plus the yard are clearly in great nick.

Its the same most seasons, people plunge on smart two year olds, unsure if the are either fit or have trained on. One of the risks of AntePost betting im afraid.

Thats right alan, afraid i had my fingers burnt quite badly with HRE shooting off to stud as it were! Thats life!

Still a long flat season ahead and with the expert eye of some pretty shrewd punters on here, i am sure to claw some of it back.

hopefully starting today.

Finsceal Beo's sire, Mr Greeley, has absolutely blinding success rates with all his progeny, well over the average to my untutored eye.

She is hard to oppose and I am not sure I will and will add to my e/w bets for the day which are Miss Beatrix and Puggy (looks a hopeless case but excuses the last time and bred to make a miler).

Good luck all.
