To keep people informed:

I will try to get to Richard Lee's yard next week. I have had a reply from Charlie Egerton. He says that he can probably do us an all-in that would be within our means. His account manager is not back till 5 September, and will be in touch then. He has also invited me to visit - stables are near Newbury so if anyone else is within reach and wants to join me, please post (same goes for Lee of course!)

I am visiting Richard Lee on Thursday at 1200 (which means leaving here at about 0830). He did offer a gallops visit at 0700, but work it out.....

I shall take a list of questions generated mainly by reviewing posts. But if anyone has anything they particularly want me to ask, please post on this thread!

All contributions welcome until about 2200 on Wednesday (tomorrow), when I shall have to close down for the night!

sorry glennie about late reply mate

could not possibley afford it mate.

To be honest owning a race horse is a dream of mine and syndicate is a brillant way to make this happen for so many people but just bought a house and got a holiday to pay for so you know at the present can not commit to anything as my financial situation is rising and rising

any way best of luck and i hope when your horse has a winning chance then you could pass on the information to me

Daylami, understand perfectly! No problems!

If you read the "Visit to Richard Lee" thread, you'll have seen that I report that he will of course tell the syndicate if he thinks the horse has a decent chance. But choice whether to punt it is up to syndicate members. I'm sure none of us would hold back on info for board members, with the proviso that it's always a chance that it won't do the business on the day - you know how it is!! Particularly with the jumps. Anything can be BD, UR, carried out, make a mistake, hampered and so on.

When you're sorted on the finance front, have another think. More members always welcome!!

cheers jenny

i will as i have had a look at the figures and it looks very reasonable and it would be awesome to even to go to bangor or market rasen and shout your own horse on!!!!!!!!

yes at the moment i have a 2 weekholiday to new york to pay of and i have just bought my first house so i have alot of commitments and at the moment i just can not join this syndicate at the moment but i wish all the people all the luck in the world with your new horse.

I am very pleased that you are giving Charlie Edgeton a chance as this guy is very very good trainer i rate him as one of the best

regards

daylami
