Well done Nina and Garde Champetre.

I was surprised to see Silver Birch run so well, there may be life in the old dog yet

to be fair he looked to be thoroughly enjoying himself in the National before he tipped up.

edited to add..

hmm Gungadu for the National next year? Could Elliot win with another Nicholls cast-off?

Now that'd be interesting, if he took to the test I could see him doing well. Silver Birch was reported as being better for today then he was at Aintree so that would be where some improvement came about.

I think Elliot would need to do something with Gungadu's handicap mark though

Good stuff, Tony, and glad to hear you feel better for a trip to the winner's enclosure!

I was on Rocco's Hall each-way, so I will forgive you!

All the best and keep feeling better,
John

im going try and strike while the iron is hot   i fancy cousin vinny to show his worth at 4s! in the handicap rock diplomat is very well fancied so have took the 14s e/w 1-2-3-4-5 with pp this has a low weight and will start shorter! lastly i have to take on tranquil sea has been very disappointing for me and i feel ravens run has every chance in this took the 10s e/w

good luck to all
