Not much of an effort from the peloton this month.
Geordie streaks away to win number 14. His fifth on the trot, beating his previous best of 4 wins on the trot. Well played GR.

Well Millsy tried his best but just fell short over the last week
Geordie bags his sixth win on the trot and makes it win number 15.
Good to see quite a few different daily winners this month.

After a few solid place efforts, Millsy finally gets his deserved win.
Geordies fantastic run finally comes to an end, think we will all have to be on our toes as am sure he will be back with vengeance in October.

Obviously Geordie didnt appreciate being beaten last month and came back with vengeance with the result never being in doubt from a long way out despite Geordie easing up over the last couple of days.
A good battle for the places going on behind him was only a small distraction and Millsy popped up on the line to snatch second.
Good to see some of the other forumites having the odd go and hopefully this will encourage them to have a few more go's.

Some things just never change.
The quiz started back in November 2007 and Geordie showed his prowess then. November 2008 and Geordie notches another win and so to November 2009 and congratulations again to Geordie for win number 17.
Everyone was playing for places a long way out.
Papa3 finally gets a place in the top 5 and hopefully he can now rest.

Congratulations to Geordie (have got this on copy and paste now) on win number 18. Looked like Westmead was going to push you all the way until the last week or so.
Will 2010 bring another player up to the plate. My each way money is on Jenny who is always there or thereabouts but seems to have an injury during each month and doesnt get to play all the time. Hopefully an injury free month is on the cards .
Westmead moves up to joint 2nd overall and Darren moves up to fourth.

Congratulations to Geordie on win number 19.
Unlucky to Ngreggors who just got pipped at the post.
Westmead finished 3rd and moves up to 2nd place outright in the total points league.
JDF sneaked up on the last day to claim the last points scoring position.
A real good spread of daily winners this month with 16 different quizzers each having a win.
Hopefully the share of wins will carry on for the short month of February.

Congratulations to me on my win which ended a 4 month winning streak by GR who kindly let me win one by putting in only half an effort for the last week. Cheers GR. Last time i won was back in August 2008 so i think patience and persistence is the way to topple Mr Racer (plus a bit of luck doesnt do any harm)
I reclaim second spot from WMH and Millsy moves up to 5th place overall with another top 3 finish.
Good to see Seren back playing again (if only briefly) but with 3 daily wins from 6 go's, she is the one to follow if playing all the time.
Still a good mix of daily winners so hats off to FF for keeping the quiz a good mixture with everyone having a chance of a win.

Well played Millsy on his 2nd victory. More or less led from start to finish. Millsy moves up to 4th place overall ahead of Darren who had a good month despite missing a couple of days.
Me and Westmead stay 2nd and 3rd overall in our personal battle
Geordie does his Oliver Twist again by going for seconds but remains clear at the top.
With Darren and Geordie already planning an assault for the next month and Millsy eager to get win number 3. I think April will be an interesting month with no fools. Also with plenty of quizzers able to upset the applecart in the line up the battle will be no foregone conclusion.

Will try and update after every month (sorry for the lateness of this update but missus was in hossie and had a few monsters to look after)
Geordie gets back on track with win number 20 and moves further ahead at the top of the board.
Well played Westmead, who moves up to 2nd position, as looked at one point as if win number 2 was on the cards.
Millsy clocks another 6 points and stealthily moves up the board, good finish for FF and a belated points gather by Seren after a couple of months out.
Not many players this month so lets hope that more join in for the merry month of may.

Westmead finally clocks up win number 2 after a few close things. Lead more or less from start to finish and cements her postion in the number 2 slot. Seren notches her first serious points score since coming back to play and moves up to 6th overall. Geordie claims 3rd even after missing a couple of days. MT snatches 4th spot after a last day turnaround with Millsy (5th) and Penleguin (6th).
Dont forget playing everyday will move you up the table as some people will miss the odd day as we enter the summer holiday season.

Well, what a finish.
Westmead gets it on the line after a ding dong battle with Geordie to notch win number 3. All it needed was someone to score more than WMH on the last day for Geordie to win.
MT Vessels takes 3rd spot with NGR 4th and Madamb 5th to claim the place points.
Quite an exciting month even though some days we had only 10 or so playing.
Lets hope we have more of the same for this month.
