They really seem all at sea to me.
Hints that Ramos is unhappy in England, players not liking the system, goals very hard to come by, fans disgruntled (every year they start off with high hopes only for them to be destroyed pretty quickly).
They should have kept Martin Jol IMHO, ridiculous decision to get rid of him.
Oh - and Bentley's off on one already (From The People: "Winger David Bentley, the pick of the summer signings, sought showdown talks with Ramos after Monday's defeat by Aston Villa because he is unhappy that he had not yet been allowed to play in his favoured position and had instead been used in a central role.")

| I have said since the start of the season that they won't be in the top 8 this term. Seems I understated it - they won't be in the top 10! Very disjointed. THey won't go down or anything but they look awful and I can't see them coming good for a good while yet. |

One of my mates just posted this on another board, he really doesn't hold back! Just about sums it up for me:
It's all about opinions and for me, Bentley's a self-adoring little show pony who thinks he's far better than he is and expects every team to be built around his lack of pace and 1 in 4 good cross ratio. I loved the sight of him in his suit watching on in Zagreb while Walcott showed the sort of match winning performance that Bentley-lovers keep telling us is on the way. For me, he personifies the weakness of character among england players that has caused us to be so shit. He'll make a DVD of his one good cross per match and think that's enough. He'll do what he wants, like have a rest over the summer rather than play for England... and when he scores he rushes around screaming "that's my name" and pointing to the back of his shirt. Personally, I also scream his name every time he hits the first defender with a cross or corner. Rant over... He may finally fulfill his potential one day but not while people make excuses for him. |

I thought it was quite clever when Spurs fans took the famous Special One tag off Mourinhio and changed it to the Special Juan for Ramos.
Has he become the Special Juan (ker) yet? _________________ Not as naive as some, but happy. |

i'm too depressed by it all to have any serious debate.
i'll just say what i've been saying for 12 months - i wish we'd never lost big MJ. |

next game is home to Stoke...
now that is really a classic must win six-pointer..
and Newcastle are home to Blackburn...
neither will have many better chances to collect 3 points _________________ RJI |

still bottom despite the redknapp effect.....
next 3 or 4 games will be interesting; the bottom end of the table will be seriously congested this season _________________ Geordie_R
