We (LCFC) were 6/1 to win this division throughout the summer, a bet i consistently topped up over the summer all the way till the start of the season.
Matt Fryatt 20/1 to be top scorer in the division is the other bet i consistently topped up over the summer and also have doubled the pair up for what after a lot of quids here and there has shaped in to a bit of a monster. 4 games, 5 goals and 10 points, a better start than i ever dreamed we'd have, i honestly think though now things are starting to take shape it's clear we have a far, far superior squad to any other team in the division.
I don't know what were trading at now, or what price Fryatt is to be top scorer as i made this bet with the intention of not to lay off even a penny of the stake. Sitting pretty after 4 games, can't wait for the season to get in to full swing. Leicester City and Matty Fryatt are going to dump on this division from a great height, you've been told.
Owl, Kyle, what do you think our chances are this year after such a good start?

Leicester are doing well, but i wouldnt get carried away just yet. Dont forget that back in may, two of the teams you have played were two divisions below you. Fryatt looks like he will score a hat full though, and good luck with your bets. _________________ If at first you dont succeed..then skydiving isnt for you |

| Delighted with the start. We look really good. Yes it's early and I'm not getting carried away but I am very hopeful that we'll go up. We have a good squad and look defensively solid with plenty of attacking options. It's a nice feeling to actually win some games - I think that until this season it's been something daft like 18 months since we won back to back games! |

I think Leicester have the team to walk this league and wished i had got on before the season, it started much sooner than i thought. They are scoring plenty of goals and not letting them in. In any league that is a recipe for success, id hang tight GG and collect them winnings. Only danger for you is Hughes who has banged in a few goals. _________________ Wolves winner 20.1.08 |

Wouldn't read too much into yesterdays game. We were disgraceful yesterday. Got nothing up front as Hayles couldn't play against his parent club and our squad is so thin.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
Oldham may well push you all the way. Also fancy the murderer Lee Hughes to be top scorer as he looked different class last week when Oldham also spanked us 4-0. |

yes it would be nice to see the Fosse get back up into the old div2 at least
always quite a fun place to visit over the years [although the pitch at filbert street used to be really narrow to my eyes,,,, never been to the walkers crisp stadium] _________________ Geordie_R

Tis a soulless place, but we've had some good times there over the years. _________________ Black horse apocalypse, death sanitised through credit. |

Tis indeed. I think a lot of these new 'bowls' are. No atmosphere at City of Manchester either. |

Filbert Street was definitely a far superior stadium. When we play midland derbies or big teams and fill the walkers it can be very good, it's far too vast a stadium for the division were currently residing in though. _________________ 2008 BCC WINNER - Henry The Navigator (Is this some kind of sick joke? The vast majority, if not all of them are. The last day at Ninian Park will be emotional.
The new place looks really nice but it just won't have the atmosphere. _________________ Black horse apocalypse, death sanitised through credit. |

Ironically the new Bridge should have been better than the old one. They did away with the dog track and moved the stands close to the pitch. What stops any real atmosphere is you cant buy seast in segments, or reserve the same seat each time you go. So you can guarantee to be in the same part of the ground week in week out. _________________ If at first you dont succeed..then skydiving isnt for you |
