Off that bend my hair stood on end and I was covered in goosebumps. When he crossed the line I was practically in tears. Raw talent just does that.
Well done to you guys who were on Bolt's wagon before the band _________________ Jimi Hendrix b.27/11/42 "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens"

Once i seen this clip i knew he would be Olympic champion and break all records. The raw raw talent was unreal. Its amazing when you see a performance like this from a new kid on the block and just know that he is extra special yet the odds are still so so big!

Thanks for the clip DD. It seems so obvious there with Tyson Gay trailing in his wake.
There's a certain joyfulness to his running that makes me glad to be alive. Such a change from all that rhino huffing and puffing that some athletes have gone in for before the start in the past. Maybe I'm a crazy old lady these days, but that boy makes me smile. I hope he stays sound, runs faster and keeps on smiling _________________ Jimi Hendrix b.27/11/42 "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens"

I kept that clip on my phone and watched it about 5 times each day in the run up to the Olympics - you are right its great to be alive just to see the "man" run!
To break MJ's record was just unreal - would of loved to seen them 2 in the same race! |

| Absolutely stunning talent. Not much more can be said really. He seems to have a bit of character as well which is nice. |

Would you believe you could have got 80/1 on Bolt for the Olympic 100M beofre that race in New York?
To be fair he wasnt expected to run in the event before that run. |

Unreal. 80/1 - thats just a magic price. Fair play to whoever had the money on! I thought 6/4 was good LOL! |

1518: Usain Bolt performs a ropey forward roll as the Jamaican team complete their lap of honour. Just as well he's good at running, because he'd never win a medal for gymnastics. Asafa Powell is in stitches.
From BBC text - I hope they replay this
They won the relay btw _________________ "I am a racing fan and I like watching racing, and I certainly like watching Flat racing more when Kieren Fallon is riding" - AP McCoy

Another world record and another gold for Bolt.
Banning the Jamaican diet is looking ever more likely! |
