Grand Slam Of DartsI was meant to post this up before the tournament began. I haven't had a chance to see that much of it yet but who do people think will win. Obviously Taylor can't be discounted in the form he's in but I don't think it's a done deal. Part can come along and put in a cracking performance out of the blue at times and while Barney isn't in form, I have a feeling he's going to come back with a vengeance at some point.Apparently Mardle vs Dobromyslova was a cracker yesterday! |

Now, Now Lochsong there's no need for that  Darts could yet be in the 2012 Olympics! Especially now the campaign has got one of the greatest ever Briish Olympians(Steve Backley) on its side

Its one of the fastest growing sports in terms of Populatiry here in Ireland, everyone seems to love it.

It's on ITV4 if you can get that in Ireland. I think the PDC are trying to widen their appeal and as only a certain amount of people have Sky Sports, ITV have the rights to this. I'm more of a BDO man myself but watch both |

Know one will believe me but I have seen a 9 darter thrown from the right hand on this very keyboard. Wades was top, always gives me goosebumps, Taylor's 9 darter against Mason is the best I've seen. | ||||||

3 Treble Tops, 3 Treble Tops, Treble Top, Treble 19, Double 12 There are a few ways of doing it though. It has been done a few times but not that often. |

Can you finish a 9 darter on bull?
I know I've seen a couple excellent low dart finishes on bull. Something a bit special about that. Good arrows!!!! |

I remember watching that in a golf bar where I happened to be at the time. I was the only person interested in the darts but everyone became interested pretty sharpish

No money, just the self-satisfaction. Know ones ever believed me un less they've seen me stand at a dartboard for a short while. I still throw but not like I did a few years ago, the nights I spent up till the early morning trying to hit that 3 dart combination finish, learnt that from Phil Taylor, its the best way to improve yourself. | ||||||

Put a polo on the double 3 and get all 3 darts in without cracking it, that's a trick that improves you as well. | ||||||

119 is my favourite finish for some reason. Treble 20 - 19 - Tops. Thats the wrong way to go for it as if you miss the treble 20 99 is a bogey, but i just can't throw it any other way, it's like an ADD thing. 170's are bang on mate, 132 Bull-Bull-double 16 is one I've always adored as well. |

I know what you mean. If I've got 101 left I'll always go for treble 17, Bull even though that's not the logical way. I always have gone that way on 101 and probably always will. I don't play that much at the moment though as I moved away from the pub I used to play for & haven't found a pub round here with a darts team. |

I've had a board in my room since i was 12, just loved watchin' it, playin' it, the fact it's a true working class man's sport. I got really good at one point but every time I've tried to throw a dart in a competition my arms go, I just can't do it, I have so much respect for the guys getting up in front of the TV cameras and playing because as anyone who throws will know if your too nervous everything goes DD's to the sky. | ||||||

It might be actually, I'm not sure 
501-171 (treble 19x3) = 330 330-171 = 159 159 - 57 = 102 (n/o with 2 darts left) 159 - 54 = 105 (n/o with 2 darts left) etc etc. I'm pretty sure via that immaculate workings out on my behalf you need to hit a minimum of 3 treble 20's to leave you 150 as an outshot without needing another 60. B-B-B. Any insight? |

I'm open to correction but i think the best you could do is just 1 treble 20. |
