I have watched Lord of the Rings and films with strange looking people, but for a human being to look like he does is pretty shocking"

if ever there was a need for a demonstration of how appaling professional heavyweight boxing has become, this fight is it.
Can you imagine what An Ali, Holmes, Marciano, Lewis or Holyfield would do to these two?

I agree.
I am going to chuck Tyson into that list too. I have been watching his first 25 fights on ESPN Classic and the guy was a machine. I never realised how strong and quick he was really.
Also watched Ali's fights with Frazier and Foreman. Absolutely stunning.

I used to follow boxing but at some point I can't quite put my finger on, i lost all interest in it. A couple of my mates who still like boxing are having a get together for this fight. I've been invited. What I want to know is WILL IT CLASH WITH THE BREEDERS CUP?!?!?!

Still no mention of any odds or your thoughts yet, VS?! Come on, live up to your name...... and try not to be biased towards your slightly better looking, giant Russian cousin

Haye 4/6 sjames
Valuez 13/8 coral
Draw 33s all the Bs,boylesport, blue square and the bald one
best prices 8.55 pm 1/11/09
The first thought is if it was a street fight outside a club and a guy 7ft 2inches and 23 stone is tackling a guy 11 inches shorter and about 6stone lighter .
Jesus .Mary and Joseph the 13/8 is real VALUE!!
ps Apologies Lord ,with my Catholic upbringing I should know better.
I will say 4 our fathers and three hail marys as my penance.

Valuev has never been knocked down in a fight and when you see him you will realise why. Surely if your gonna back Haye your gonna do it on points? I think Haye will be far too fast and will probably win by a unanimous points decision. I quite like Haye, and I think for him to become world champion would do wonders for Heavyweight cos he has got the craic to make it a bit more exciting.

I had a very vivid dream Haye knocked him out in the 5th and Valuez fell through the ring. Have to have a fiver on the fifth after that.

So as not to confuse the non boxing folk..... the one on the left is actually the referee..... Valuev is the slightly bigger chap in the middle!

Sure to be an interesting contest!
If Haye can avoid the Valuev bombs for the first five or six rounds then surely the Brits fitness will become a major factor...Cant see a bloke of 22 stone dancing about the ring at twelve rounds..

Strange decision, although it was tight in some of the rounds.
Fair play to Haye, stayed away from the big guy and landed a few nice shots, especially at the end.
British Heavyweight champion. Nice!!
