Betfair GreyhoundsI looked at a race about 10 mins before the off on betfair and nothing had been traded. Is this normal ? Do these betting markets have no bearing with what on course bookies are upto ?

HI TGS...I am not really sure as i normally use Betfair to back antepost on the dogs.

spent a couple of hours with the betfair dogs on a sky night.some of the prices you can get are unreal.not for huge stakes but enough to make it interesting.can even get betting without the favourite 
for an example i got 5/1 on a dog without the fav when it was only 4/1 on track WITH the fav.had it for £20 and it romped home with the jolly not in the 3.there was only about £60 available to match at that price but for a bit of fun you cant go wrong.

I guess as the race was being shown on Sky there was a lot more liquidity than the card I was looking at.
