Amir Khan!

I don't know too much about boxing!

Is this a walk-over or a proper fight??
shamardal84

Should be a walkover for me, Khan needs a good performance after the Hammond fight, I expect a KO in the first two
theGoingStick

Khan hasn't had a proper fight in all his pro fights so far !!! He needs to get himself over to the states !!!
theGoingStick

Well done Amir you've stopped another chump

To be fair, you cant jump in at the deep end, you have to take your time, he's still only very young, if you put him in America now he'd struggle as his defence isnt good enough but 5 or 6 fights time, he should be there
FallonFacta

Horrible to see Bruno sitting there with no reactions.

Seemed good for Khan - No reason for him to go into serious battle now!
Just needs to take it steady surely.
RightJudgeIam

Totally agree Sham...learn his trade, develope defence and ring craft...10 fights down the line he'll be the real deal...take your time son and you'll get there

he's good but he's no Naseem Hamed (dynamite in both fists) and will need to improve plenty

He's had 13/14 pro fights, he's won a silver medal against the top amateurs, how much experience does he need before he goes for a shot at the titles !!!

His defence does need working on but he'll only develop it against the top fighters who'll worry him !!!

I dont agree....develop against domestic/european fighters...it's a proven strategy. The guy he beat tonight was previously beaten by Jon Thaxton who's a million light years from World Class...take him and the other domestics and europeans first, then go to the states and fight some challengers (top 10 fighters).

What I dont want to see is him fighting for a bogus (WBU, IBO) title against a nobody from the Commonwealth, then claiming he's a champion. The kid is better than that..go the traditional route, earn stripes and have a career to be proud of ...

Maybe that was the way to do it when there was some strength in depth in his weight division in the UK !!! The challengers they've put him in the ring with, so far, are substandard !!! I just hope all this talk of him going for a title shot in one of his next 2 fights isn't all hot air, he needs more of a challenge !!! He has had a fair few fights now and is ranked in the top 15 of the world in his weight division so he deserves it !!!

I agree with that !!! Hopefully he can learn a lesson from Audley Harrison !!!

Yep Graham Earl was on his back within 72 seconds!!! I heard he was a slow starter but that was taking the mick!!

Blimey just think if that was pay per view fight!!!

Amir Khans way to good for what he's been put in the ring with, if you're a decent amateur boxer you're no push over as a pro, it's a simple as that !!!
