Heads ontheground was the EW play at 6/1 NRNB with top 4 places and if 16 runners go to post then then he would surely still be the call EW at 4/1 or above, as i can't see him finishing out of the places, the top 2 for that matter, and must have a decent chance of actually retaining his crown.
Wonderkid has been notoriously difficult to prepare for races and Garde Champetre fell in the Cross Country Chase here in December, so he wouldn't fill be with confidence either.

Regards.

provided he dosent run the wrong way come to a stop start again and run an extra half mile LE DUC cold take all thebeating here

he's a generous price [12s last time I looked] and an e/w steal.

I make him my NAP of the day if not of the meeting

He has [finally] got his head back in front in an amateur race this season so his seconditis may have been cured.

You are right about the value, but is his price as high because he's unseated twice and fallen once on his previous visits to Cheltenham?  Obviously not all on the X-country course and he has some placed efforts there too, but might be tempted to EW on Royal Auclair myself.

I like Royal Auclair in the XC as well, always runs a genuine race and seems to have enough left to pick up a place.

Oh no Geordie's nap of the meeting and he's got his horse mixed up with another!

PMSL

You need to have a horse that can judge the windmill correctly and is able to ring the bell on the 18th for an extra go later for free...

I had an antepost bet on First Down Jets for the Foxhunters, thinking on it, this race may suit him better. I have to admit this isnt my favourite race but Spot has changed my opinion a little. Lets just hope the course is marked properly today.
