anyone know when this is likely to be available on Betfair? I've got a strong fancy for this race and am hoping to get on at similar antepost prices as i got for Massini's Maguire in the Ballymore last Cheltenham (best festival win ever)
Will post once the BF market has settled and i'm well invested. Nothing other than a major gut feeling - but will be my biggest antepost bet this festival.
by the way, what's your strong fancy for this one?
Gone to Lunch - based on the way that he finished up the hill last time out. Value has now gone, though, not that there was a great deal to begin with. Other people have clearly had the same idea - am gutted!
TAZBAR looks like a serious horse - his form is being franked all over the place, won well over 3m today but has also put up some cracking 2m perfromacnes which is no mean feat. However i gather he may skip the festival and go to Aintree instead - wahtever he does it will take a good one to beat Tazbar who has some serious speed for a stayer
Tazbar did indeed look good yesterday. Wonder whether he can translate that from Haydock to Cheltenham
At the start of January I was told to back a horse called Sarteano of Dessie Hughes. It was placed against Temlett, an dthe horse has since run twice more, and looks to have improved. All three races over 2miles, and he was given two entries for Cheltenham...a Supreme, and an Albert
There's plenty of money behind him at 60's on Betfair for the Prince Albert!
Think I'll have a bit of that, as he will apparently appreciate the longer trip

Tazbar might not go to Cheltenham!
The trainer will only run him if the ground is on the good side by the Friday. Also he wouldn't want too large a field for it's race.
They are looking at a 3 Mile Hurdle race at Aintree as an option & the trainer thinks this will be better for his horse. _________________ SBH Comp 2008 - Runner Up
Reveley says he's 95% sure to go to Aintree as he can see no good reason to go to Cheltenham. He'll take all the beating there as the 2m5f and 3m horses from Cheltenham who run at Aintree too will be a bit weary whereas Tazbar will be fresh and would probably beat them all anyway! Plus we'll get a decent price at Aintree as the bookies will have the 'proven' festival horses priced up shorter.

Of course it's price if it was to run at Aintree instead will also depend on how many of the horses who contested the Cheltenham race go on to Aintree!
It sometimes pays to look out for horses who were 'also rans' at Cheltenham who benefit from running in a strong race & are well capable of reproducing that form at Aintree. _________________ SBH Comp 2008 - Runner Up
Well I've been a fan of Gone For Lunch ever since he won for me at Mussleburgh earlier in the season & if his last run is to be taken on trust he's must have a great chance in this!
One that might run well at a big price is Siegmaster but I'm really hoping Gone To Lunch comes home out in front! _________________ SBH Comp 2008 - Runner Up
