Gardasee was an improving sort last year accumulating in a cracking 4th in the Fred Winter. This time he was a late starter this season but Tom Tate would not have got him ready if he did not think he could improve his current mark over hurdles. He needed his first run of the season and the step up in trip will suit this strong galloping sort; Very much well respected.

Nobody Tells Me his a Pipe horse and he does look like a horse who is a crying out for the 3 mile trip; he has been some what disappointing this season but the tongue strap could sort that out. He looks a good ground horse and I respect his chances.

Hurricane Spirit has been on the go all winter so he must have a significant fitness advantage and also be a lot sharper. He stays 7 furlongs and ran a very encouraging race against Areyoutalkingingtome over 6. A horse that possesses not only speed and class but a will to win. He must be a confident bet to win today.

Abraham Lincoln

I have been told that this horse is at least listed class; so him running in a maiden most be promising that he can open his account at this attempt. The son of the champion sprinter Danehall he must be expected to be tough to beat.
